Band Bio-Steve
Pinky Tylers bassist/keyboardist, Steve E. Reyes, has played in many different types and genres of music through out his 30 years of his performing art. Playing speed metal to country western, disco bands to orchestras, music has taken him all through the USA, Caribbean and throughout Europe. But who says you can’t go home?
Being the newest member of the group, Steve has found a wonderful musical outlet in Pinky Tyler. Being born and raised in this part if the country, he is happy to be back home and playing the type of music that he loves best!
Steve’s career has been vast. Being a composer/arranger, bassist, keyboardist and trombonist, he has had the pleasure to work with such greats as Huey Lewis, John Tesh, War, Tower of Power, Ozomatli and the late great Count Basie just to name a few.
As a bassist, Steve’s influences are Geddy Lee, Stanley Clark, Victor Wooten, Jaco Pastorius, Stuart Hamm, Marcus Miller and of course Michael Anthony. Steve is looking forward to laying down a rock solid foundation along with drummer Bob Brady in one of the Northern Illinois premier rock bands.
